Wild Beer Co. on 66% of £1,000,000 Crowdcube target

The south west based beer company has started crowdfunding.

Exporting to 22 countries and averaging an annual growth of over 100 percent in its first 4 years, The Wild Beer Co. hopes to continue its success with a crowdfunding target of £1,000,000 on Crowdcube.

Created in 2012 by Brett Ellis and Andrew Cooper, Wild Beer is a brewery that encourages you to “Drink Wildly Different”.

“We have a passion for wild fermentation and barrel ageing to make beers with complexity and unusual flavour. We have helped create a market within the UK craft beer scene, have become world-renowned for what we do and now export to 22 countries.”

Already having raised 66 percent of their target, Brett and Andrew are hopeful of their businesses growth and their aims to drive it forward.

Hoping to push the boundaries of the beer industry, Wild Beer Co. plan to build a new, state of the art brewery in the Bath and West Showground. They also plan to develop their current bar and restaurant business, which are located in Bristol and Cheltenham.

“We are currently building a new brewery to house our production facility which will cement us as one of the leading craft beer breweries in the UK – especially as it will allow us to develop our current site and our barrel-aged, sour beer range. To make this happen we are giving our customers the chance to invest wildly different and help us build our new brewery together. ” it explains on their website.

“Our aim is to stay at the forefront of the UK wild fermentation and barrel-ageing beer scene and enable us to continue growing our business, and the industry for many years.”

So far, Wild Beer has raised over £600,000 of its £1,000,000 target. They have 29 days left of fundraising and a pre-money evaluation of £25,000,000. They offer an equity of 3.85 percent.
