Boohoo reports 41% surge in revenue

Boohoo has posted a surge in profits and sales last year, as sales in activewear boosted revenue over the pandemic.

In the year ended 28 February 2021, revenue surged 41% whilst sales increased from £1.23bn to £1.75bn.

During the same period, profit jumped 35% from £92.2m to £124.7m.

“Over the last year the group has made great progress, delivering another set of record results despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Mahmud Kamani and Carol Kane, Boohoo co-founders.

“We have made significant progress on our Agenda for Change programme, with greater oversight of our supply chain, stronger governance and more transparency.”

Boohoo shares opened -1.04% at 323.50 (0818GMT).
