Pets at Home posts 18% revenue growth

Pets at Home has reported an 18% growth in revenues to £677.6m in the six months to the 7th October.

The group has seen strong growth since the pandemic when many UK households bought pets.

Like for like sales at Pets at Home increased in the period by 28.6%.

Peter Pritchard, chief executive, commented: “Our business has never been more robust. Notwithstanding some near-term, industry-wide challenges, we continue to grow ahead of our plans and, based on trading year to date, we are on track to report a record year of sales and profit growth.”

Investor payouts has increased from 6.3 pence to 11.3 pence per share.

Profits are expected to be at the top end of expectations for the full year.
