Eve Sleep shares plunge despite strong trading

Eve Sleep has posted 22% growth in revenues in the UK in Ireland.

The mattress retailer’s trading update for the year ending on 31 December 2021 reported that 40% of revenues were due to sales of its premium range.

The high Covid rates in December had “placed additional strain on the delivery network resulting in customer service challenges” the group said.

The group said that the issues were “short lived” and customer service would soon return to normal.

Shares plummeted 20% on Wednesday morning.
