ME+EM hit 95% of crowdfunding target

The UK fashion brand has been popular among celebrities including Cara Delevigne and Emma Watson.

Offering designer quality clothes at lower prices, ME+EM has raised 95 percent of their total Crowdcube target.

Worn by clientele including Kate Middleton and Emma Watson, this UK fashion brand cuts out the middleman and ships clothes straight from the factory to consumers to offer lower prices after founder Clare Hornby hoped to “bridge the gap between beauty and affordability. ”

Over the last two years, their customer base has grown significantly and they are performing well with January YoY sales up 102 percent.

The UK fashion brand is on Crowdcube.

Recognising the total size of the UK fashion market, which is currently at £50 billion, ME+EM is sure to grab a slice as it is designed to appeal women of all ages and has been featured in magazines such as The Telegraph, The Times, Vogue, Style and Grazia.

“ME+EM is experiencing growth across all areas of our business (digital, direct and retail). With 20% of clothing and footwear bought online (expected to increase to +30% by 2020) premium online fashion is one of the fastest growing categories in the overall clothing, footwear and accessories market (+6.6% pa growth) providing a great opportunity for ME+EM,”

The fashion brand hopes to use funds raised from Crowdcube to focus on building their digital growth faster and enhancing the online and mobile marketing to boost customer conversion online – not a surprising target when website visits in 2016 were up 50 percent to over 1.5 million.

ME+EM has so far raised over £670,000 of its £700,000 target. With 29 days left to fundraise, it offers a pre-money evaluation of £6,500,000 and an equity of 9.72 percent.

The fashion brand currently has two stores in central London.
